Chrome Plating

Chrome plating is a finishing treatment utilizing the electrolytic deposition of chromium. The most common form of chrome plating is the thin, decorative bright chrome layer over an underlying nickel plate. The pores (tiny holes) in the nickel and chromium layers also promote corrosion resistance. Bright chrome imparts a mirror-like finish to items such as metal furniture frames and automotive trim. Thicker deposits, up to 1000 µm, are called hard chrome and are used in industrial equipment to reduce friction and wear.
Our speciality is motor-vehicle parts, but we plate many other items. Please call or email us about your specific plating needs. Volume and vendor pricing is also available.
We base estimates on each part's dimensions, geometry, base metal composition and overall condition.
Once you've decided to plate, parts may be sent to the address proivided in our contacts page. Please include name, address and phone numbers as well as a list of parts.
